Virtual Board Game

BoxBox was a personal project that spanned around 2 years (from conception of idea to final product). It is essentially a digital version of a board game I designed and created. A brief summary of the rules for this would be: 2 players compete around the inside of a cube, trying to push their opponent's counters back onto their side of the cube.
This was the first game that I designed and built solo from the ground up. Though a little messy, I pushed far outside my comfort zone to bring it to life, in terms of design, programming and aesthetic; the rules of the game required careful iteration and physical play-testing to perfect, I built an entire local 1v1 multiplayer system and all the functions required to move counters in the various, somewhat unorthodox manners as prescribed by the rules I had devised.
